Privacy Policy — Wellspent

Wellspent does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and the app makes no network connections at all. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, or have any means of seeing:

• the figures you enter — balances, income, bills, envelopes, debts, goals
• how you use the app, which screens you open, or how often you open it
• your name, email address, device identifiers, or location
• crash reports or diagnostics

This is not a promise about how carefully we handle your data. It is that your data never reaches us, because the app has no way to send it anywhere.

Where your information is stored

Everything you enter is written to a single file inside Wellspent's own storage area on your device. iOS keeps that area private to the app; other apps cannot read it.

Two things follow from where that file lives, and you control both:

• Device backups. If you back up your iPhone or iPad — to iCloud, or to a computer — that backup includes Wellspent's file, exactly as it includes other apps' data. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us.
• Exports you choose to make. Settings → Export JSON writes your data to a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is entirely your choice — Files, email, another device. Once it leaves the app it is an ordinary file, protected by wherever you put it.

Purchases

Wellspent offers one optional purchase that unlocks extra features. The payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details, and no payment information passes through the app. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been bought. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions

Wellspent requests no permissions. It does not ask for your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, location, notifications, or health data, and it cannot access them.

Third parties

There are none. Wellspent includes no third-party code, no software development kits, no analytics or crash-reporting services, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind across apps or websites.

Children

Wellspent is safe for any age to use, because it collects nothing from anyone. It is a personal budgeting tool and not directed at children, but no data is gathered from any user regardless of age.

Deleting your data

• Settings → Clear all data removes every entry while keeping the app installed.
• Deleting the app removes its storage along with it.

Because we never had a copy, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our end. Note that data may still exist in any device backup or export file you made earlier; those are yours to remove.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. If a future version were ever to collect anything, that would be stated plainly here and asked of you in the app first.
